Today’s General Hospital recap for November 13, 2023, details Nina going for broke with Carly, Ned remembering what Nina did, Anna telling Dante and Jordan quite a story, and much more.
Nina Fears Michael’s Threats
Carly (Laura Wright) and Nina (Cynthia Watros) actually seemed to get along with Nina when Nina stopped at Kelly’s for coffee and breakfast. They discussed what happened to Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) and were both in shock about the ordeal. Nina seemed to be in an ok mood until Martin (Michael E. Knight) walked in. As soon as he saw her, he also quickly walked out.
That didn’t matter to Nina. She followed him and unleashed her rage over him telling Michael she was the one behind the SEC call. She wanted to know why she shouldn’t have him disbarred for violating attorney-client privilege. Marty informed her that Michael (Chad Duell) already knew Nina was the culprit before he forced confirmation out of him.
When Nina told him that Michael was using the information to emotionally blackmail her and keep her away from Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), Martin advised her to call his bluff and tell the truth because it was bound to come out anyway. She worried Sonny and Willow might never want to see her again if they knew.
When Carly returned with Nina’s order, she spied her and Marty arguing outside and wondered what was going on. Before she could make her way out the door to find out, Drew (Cameron Mathison) arrived and distracted her.
After Drew and Marty left, Nina decided to obey Michael’s other order, so she gave Carly a shock when she insisted on selling her the Metro Court. Carly didn’t get a chance to answer because Willow stopped by to talk about Wiley.
Olivia Keeps Ned Quiet
Ned (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) were thrilled to wake up together after so many months apart because he thought he was Eddie Maine. As they discussed the coming day, Olivia mentioned renovations for the Metro Court rooftop, Ned suddenly remembered hearing Nina was the one who tipped off the SEC.
Olivia couldn’t believe her ears when Ned told her it was Nina all along. He explained overhearing Martin and Nina talking and confronted Nina before following her up to the pool where he tripped over some towels, fell into the pool, and became an imaginary rock star. He wanted to tell Drew and Carly the truth, but Olivia stopped him.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Nina were happy and married now, Drew was out of jail, and nobody was the worst for wear, so why bring this up now? Olivia even liked seeing Nina and Carly getting along now. Ned didn’t want Nina to get away with it, but Olivia felt it was better than causing another family war.
Ned agreed with her but he still wanted to clear his name. He didn’t like Carly and Drew believing he was the one who committed this perfectly legal act. He didn’t like being wrongly accused and had no intention of dropping this. However, he was willing to keep the information secret for now.
No More Eddie Maine
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) and Lois (Rena Sofer) sat in the Q kitchen strategizing how to turn Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez) into a star. Lois would help Blaze transition to other music styles while still being a success. Blaze wanted to sing country music, something Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) supported as the country market was currently red hot.
As they went over some of the songs that Blaze wanted to sing, Lois was partial to one that Blaze wrote herself. Just then, Olivia and Ned walked into the kitchen with Ned wearing a suit. Yuri immediately knew Ned wasn’t Eddie anymore.
Both Brook Lynn and Lois were thrilled to have Ned back and shared some tender moments. Ned relayed his experience from the night before. He nearly drowned but this time when he woke, he was Ned again instead of Eddie.
What Charlotte Did Shocks All
At GH, Charlotte wanted to make sure that Anna (Finola Hughes) had not been by to see her since she was sure Anna wanted her dead. As Liz (Rebecca Herbst) helped Charlotte walk the hallways to get her strength back, Jake (Hudson West) arrived with flowers. When Elizabeth gave them some time alone, Charlotte apologized for ruining his Halloween and sneaking off.
She then told him Anna wasn’t the nice person she pretended to be. Jake seemed to believe her because Anna shot the young girl, after all.
Anna met with Jordan (Tanisha Harper) and Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) at the PCPD where she told them what she learned the night before. Before she began, she insisted that nothing she said was official and on the record because she didn’t want Charlotte in any legal trouble.
Dante and Jordan were shocked to hear that Charlotte had been terrorizing Anna for months and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) knew about it but never said anything. They learned all about the security footage Nina erased and that Valentin was sure Charlotte was the one to burn Anna’s house down.
Dante knew that Charlotte was at camp an hour away but realized she could have easily taken an Uber and returned to camp before anyone noticed. Jordan was the voice of reason, pointing out she didn’t think Charlotte was the Metro Court pool shooter so someone else had to be the target.
Anna was still trying to adjust to the idea that she thought some ruthless killer from her past was after her when all this time, it was a teenage girl.
