This past week of The Bold and the Beautiful was filled with drama-packed with surprises. The Forrester fashion showdown is heating up. Meanwhile, a certain Forrester plans a romantic dinner. Then one lady will learn the lengths her man will go to protect her. Here’s a recap from the week of Sept. 18 – 22.
Sides Are Chosen In The Fashion Battle
The fashion battle between Eric and Ridge is set in motion. Carter tries to diffuse the situation by talking sense into Eric, but the Forrester patriarch is adamant the show will go on. Meanwhile, Ridge praises RJ on his newfound passion for designing, but questions why he chose to work with Eric.
Brooke and Donna got into an argument when Brooke implied she agreed with Ridge’s sentiments about Eric. Donna was quick to come to her Honey Bear’s defense and Katie showed her support for Team Eric.
Hope And Thomas Are Put On The Spot
Thomas and Hope enjoy a make out session in their office when they’re interrupted by Brooke. Mama Logan isn’t happy to see that her daughter’s rekindled her romance with Thomas. Brooke rants this is a mistake and Thomas is taking advantage of Hope. But Hope grows a backbone, explaining to Brooke she set boundaries with Thomas and she can make her own decisions.
Later in the week, Douglas visits Thomas and Hope. The young boy worries about Hope being sad following her split from Liam. Douglas suggests Hope would be happy with Thomas and they could be a family. The couple tell Douglas that his wish might not happen. Douglas takes matters into his own hands when he plans a candlelight dinner for his parents. Thomas and Hope are touched by Douglas’ sweet gesture. This prompts them to later have a discussion about their future. Thomas says he loves Hope and wants to be with her, and he’ll wait for whenever she’s ready. Hope says it’s nice being with Thomas, a man who loves only her.
Finn Promises To Get Rid Of Sheila
Li stops by to check on Finn, who is longing for Steffy to come home. Li says the only way that will happen is if he removes Sheila from their lives. Finn understands and is willing to do what it takes to save his marriage. During their emotional conversation, Finn tells Li she’s his real mother and thanks her for making him the man he is today. Li then reveals her anger over Jack’s affair with Sheila and blames him for introducing her into their lives. Finn promises Li he’ll get rid of Sheila once and for all.
Deacon’s Hiding Something From Sheila
Sadly, Deacon and Sheila’s romance comes to an end. After a close call of getting caught by Hope, Deacon says it’s risky being with Sheila. As much as he loves Sheila, he can’t imagine losing his daughter. Sheila is upset, but understands Deacon’s reason. She feels the same way about Finn. Deacon and Sheila reflect on their relationship, and she thanks him for his support. He took her in and helped her regain her self-worth. The two share a kiss and tender goodbye.
As Sheila packs her bags, Deacon heads to II Giardino for a meeting. Deacon’s guest is Evan Scott, the judge in Sheila’s trial. The men make small talk and they’re old acquaintances. Deacon helped Scott out of a sticky situation and the judge returned the favor. Scott asks about Deacon’s interest in Sheila’s case, and Deacon reveals he has history with her. Scott realize what Deacon means and now understands why he called in the favor. Scott did as he was told and found loopholes in Sheila’s case. He says thanks to Deacon, Sheila is free. Unbeknownst to Deacon, Sheila is nearby listening to their discussion.
