There’s a cavalcade of stars returning to Days of our Lives to honor Doug Williams and his portrayer, the late, great Bill Hayes — among them Lamon Archey and Sal Stowers who played Eli Grant (Doug’s grandson-in-law) and Lani Price Grant, respectively. Despite the somber occasion that necessitated the character’s return, they were enthusiastically received by castmates, Jackée Harry in particular.

“Look who I found in Salem,” teased the Paulina Price actress on Instagram alongside a picture of her, Archey and Stowers. Though the trio were all smiles, their funereal threads belied the true purpose of the reunion.

Harry’s post was flooded with comments from fans expressing joy at seeing the play family together again and begging Archey and Stowers to make the return more permanent…which would take some doing considering Eli just accepted his dream job in Maryland, far and away from fictional Salem.
