Today (May 23) the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) released its list of 2024 Gold and Silver Circle Honorees (for daytime). Taking home the gold are Suzanne Rogers (Maggie Horton Kiriakis, Days of our Lives), prolific scribe Jerome Dobson, best known for co-creating the NBC sudser Santa Barbara, and A Martinez (a Daytime Emmy Award nominee for The Bay; ex-Eduardo Hernandez, DAYS; ex-Cruz Castillo, SB).

Receiving silver are Patricia Denney, former hair and makeup department head for The Young and the Restless; Kathleen Finch, chairman and CEO, US Networks, Warner Brothers Discovery; Linda Grand, set master props for The Bold & The Beautiful; Janet Spellman-Drucker, co-executive producer, DAYS; Mark Teschner, casting director for General Hospital; and Rolonda Watts, talk show host, actress and VoiceOver talent (Sherri, Curious George, Divorce Court).
Gold and Silver Circle inductees are so honored for their “enduring contribution to the vitality of the television industry and for setting standards of achievement we can all hope to emulate.”
In related news, NATAS has confirmed that Entertainment Tonight’s Kevin Frazier and Nischelle Turner will return as hosts for the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards. The ceremony will be telecast on Friday, June 7 at 8 PM EDT/Delayed PT on CBS (with a concurrent live stream and the ability to watch on-demand on Paramount+).
