Today’s Days of Our Lives recap for November 13, 2023, details the birth of Nicole’s miracle baby amongst hilarious and perilous circumstances.
An Accident Sends Nicole Into Labor
Rafe (Galen Gering) was alarmed when he saw that Jada (Elia Cantu) had been injured while trying to catch Leo (Greg Rikaart) and Dimitri (Peter Porte), but she didn’t want him caring for her. She wanted him to find the fugitives but he insisted on bringing her to the hospital.
Once there, Rafe (Galen Gering) was surprised to see EJ (Daniel Feuerriegel) show up in a panic about Nicole (Arianne Zucker). Rafe quickly set up a search but didn’t seem too concerned about his ex-wife. He was more concerned about Jada, who escaped the hospital.
Little did they know that their suspects had just been in a head-on collision with a very pregnant Nicole, resulting in Nicole going into labor on the side of the road. Leo and Dimitri found Nicole but Leo had to convince his boyfriend to help her because Dimitri just wanted to run.
Nicole Hands Over Her Baby
They tried to call 911 but couldn’t even get a cell signal. Dimitri just wanted to leave her but Leo insisted they couldn’t, especially when she announced that she was in labor. It was a comical delivery, to say the least, but Nicole finally gave birth to a full-term baby boy.
Dimitri and Leo were duly impressed with themselves for delivering an entire baby into the world. However, Nicole had to remind them that the baby needed to get to the hospital right away. They didn’t want to move Nicole so Leo elected Dimitri to take the baby and get him medical care. Nicole didn’t want to be separated from her baby but Leo convinced him to hand the baby over.
Leo stayed with Nicole and comforted her while Dimitri drove the baby to the hospital. When he got there, he saw Rafe and EJ arguing and quickly ran with the baby in hand. Back at the crash site, Eric (Greg Vaughan( finally showed up and was stunned when he learned Nicole had her baby with Leo as her makeshift midwife.
After Leo ran off to meet Dimitri, he ran into Jada in the park and had to try to avoid arrest once again.
Holly Fears For Her Mom
Earlier at The Brady Pub, Eric remained giddy about this adoption he still believed would happen and couldn’t wait to tell Tate (Jaime Martin Mann) all about it. If he only knew Melinda (Tina Huang) had just told Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) that they could no longer adopt the baby that she found for them.
Holly (Ashley Puzemis) was alarmed when EJ told her that he couldn’t find her mother so she ran off to the pub because she couldn’t sit at home alone waiting for news. As soon as Eric heard, he sprung into action to perform his own search for Nicole using Holly’s smartphone location tracker.
They had a family plan and Holly finally realized she could find her mother that way. They just prayed that was still her location. When Holly and Tate got back to the house, she still couldn’t find her mom but at least had Tate there for emotional support.
A Baby Arrives For Sloan
Meanwhile, Sloan was a hot mess when she learned that the birth mother googled and learned she didn’t have a stellar reputation. After reading all she could about Sloan, the woman decided not to let her adopt her baby.
Melinda promised to find them another baby but Sloan didn’t know how she was going to break the news to Eric that they weren’t going to be parents any minute after all. Sloan wanted to just tell Eric the truth about Nicole’s baby but Melinda did her best to talk her out of it. She warned Sloan that she would lose Eric if he ever knew all her DNA test tricks.
However, as soon as Sloan went to leave and tell Eric the truth, she found Dimitri at her door holding Nicole and Eric’s baby.
