Today’s General Hospital recap for December 13, 2023, details Ava’s dangerous situation, Carly’s chance encounter, and Kristina’s big announcement.

Is It Nikolas?

Ava (Maura West) moved back into Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) old apartment, which was once her own apartment. She was happy to be out of Wyndemere, but freaking out about another note with Austin’s (Roger Howarth) picture saying ‘Don’t Tell Anyone.’ When Nina walked in, she immediately knew something was wrong.

Ava explained that moving was stressful, but Nina didn’t buy it. So, Ava showed her the note, prompting Nina to once again advise that she call the police. Ava refused, telling Nina that she was sure it was Nikolas (Adam Huss) who was taunting her.

Nina didn’t think it was Nikolas, so Ava explained that Austin had to have been the one to nurse Nikolas back to health, so they clearly knew one another. Maybe Austin double-crossed him or maybe Nikolas just wanted revenge on Ava.

After Nina left, Ava noticed an open desk drawer. Inside was a gun and a note saying, ‘You’ll never know when you’ll need it.’

Keeping Up With Sonny, Dante, And Carly

Sonny (Maurice Benard) stopped by the hospital to see Stella (Vernee Watson). He was in a generous mood and wanted to pay for all the hospital’s holiday activities, including the decorations and parties for the kids. After a long talk with Stella, we learned he was doing this in his father’s memory.

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) arrived home and told Sam (Kelly Monaco) all about the package he found in Forsyth’s locker. From what Dante read in the report, he wondered if Anna (Finola Hughes) has been on a mission to redeem herself for the last 40 years for all she did wrong in the 1980s.

Dante even explained this was an Eastern Bloc mission to Sam before showing her the empty wallet he found in the locker. When Sam examined it with a magnifying glass, she found a series of mysterious numbers that left them both wondering.

Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright) and Donna ran into Brennan in the park after he rescued Donna’s soccer ball from the bushes. They made small talk about exercise before Brennan invited himself to join them for a hot chocolate. Carly and Brennan got to know one another better as Carly touted her characteristics — and bad.

Alexis Gets Big News

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was surprised to find Molly (Kristen Vaganos) and Kristina (Kate Mansi) in her living room telling them they had some good news to share. When they told her that Kristina was going to be Molly’s surrogate, Alexis tried to be calm and understanding but it wasn’t easy.

Molly explained how she melted down in the park and Kristina found her. That prompted Kristina to offer to be her surrogate again. They even got TJ’s (Tajh Bellow) approval and wanted Alexis to be happy for them. Alexis cautioned them both, pointing out that there could be complications.

Finally, the girls convinced Alexis to go along with this so she gave her blessing. Then, Molly had to head to work, leaving Kristina and Alexis alone. That’s when the fun began and Alexis showed her true feelings, asking Kristina if she really thought this idea through.

Kristina was immediately offended because Alexis couldn’t trust her to make her own decisions. Alexis warned Kristina that pregnancy was not easy, and neither was giving up the baby once he or she was born.

Joss And Trina’s Discovery

Joss (Eden McCoy) and Trina (Tabyana Ali) were surprised to find Adam (Joshua Benard) playing guitar and singing in the dorm hallway. When he realized they were listening, he quickly stopped. Trina invited him in to play another song for them. So, he did just that, highly impressing the girls.

They later all ended up at Kelly’s where Adam explained to Trina that his parents refused to pay for guitar lessons because it was ‘low brow’ so he taught himself to play. When Trina suggested changing his major to music, Adam balked at the idea because his parents wanted him to be a doctor.
