Today’s General Hospital recap for November 15, 2023, details TJ’s heartache, Maxie’s big idea, Cyrus’s wrath, and more.
A Bad Day For TJ And Molly
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) sat down for a meal at the Metro Court where Alexis was surprised to see Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Molly getting along at another table. However, Diane was not in as good a mood as her friend and complained that Robert (Tristan Rogers) was now preoccupied with Anna (Finola Hughes) since she accidentally shot Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez).Â
Across the dining room, Molly confided that she was thinking of finding a less demanding job after the baby was born.
TJ (Tajh Bellow) was shocked when Andrea found him at the hospital to tell him that she lost the baby. She woke up in the middle of the night with cramps and heavy bleeding. An ultrasound at Mercy Hospital confirmed the baby was gone.Â
A despondent TJ turned to Portia (Brook Kerr) for support. He explained that he felt they rushed into things with a surrogate, but he was starting to get excited about having a baby. Portia offered some comforting words of wisdom that gave him the strength to call Molly and ask her to meet him at home to talk.
Two Faces Of Deception
Maxie (Kirsten Storms), Scott (Kin Shriner), and Lucy (Lynn Herring) were ready to advertise Deception on the Home and Hearth Channel once again with Haven deHaviland (Morgan Fairchild) giving them a hard time as usual. She even made a dig about Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) previous drug use. Scott warned Haven there would be no funny business like the last time Sasha appeared or Deception would sue.
When Sasha arrived, she was confident and composed and told Haven in no uncertain terms that she would not stand to have her past exploited.
While Sasha and Lucy worked out the details of the appearance, Maxie was on the phone with a mystery person making sure a secret plan went off without a hitch. Soon, Cody (Josh Kelly) appeared so Maxie could introduce him as the new Male Face of Deception. This was news to everyone, including Cody.
Haven was not impressed and declared that he would not be on her show, but Maxie warned her they’d take the Deceptor and advertise somewhere else. Haven gave in and both Cody and Sasha made a successful Home and Hearth appearance. The Deceptor even worked with men. How amazing!
Lucy wasn’t sure having Cody as a spokesperson was a great idea at first until she saw the on-screen chemistry between Sasha and Cody. When the appearance was over, Sasha told Maxie she couldn’t work with Cody anymore because she had feelings for him. Of course, Cody overheard the confession.
Cyrus Issues More Threats
Austin (Roger Howarth) and Cyrus (Jeff Kober) met up in the GH stairwell where Cyrus gave the good doctor a warning. Mason (Nathanyael Grey) would be making a plea deal so Austin thought he needed to watch his back. Cyrus assured him Mason would take full blame for kidnapping Ava, but claim he had no intention of killing her.
Cyrus was surprised to find out that Austin saw himself as a victim considering Mason only kidnapped Ava (Maura West) so that he would testify on Cyrus’s behalf. Cyrus reminded Austin that he paid for his medical school and supported him during his residency.
Austin remembered but reminded Cyrus that he spent years paying the enlightened criminal back by doing his dirty work. Cyrus assured Austin he was free — free to practice medicine until his services were needed.
Cyrus wanted his gratitude and loyalty. If he didn’t get it, then Mason would start telling the authorities some fascinating tales. In the end, Cyrus still claimed to be a man of God despite still threatening people.
