At the top of the most recent Daily Drama Podcast, co-host Steve Burton let drop the news that he’s soon to return to the General Hospital canvas.
Jason Morgan’s Return Is Imminent
Despite not having an exact start date, Burton told fellow podcaster Bradford Anderson that he was set to return to the ABC, “next week.” But, before setting foot back in the studio, Burton has a very important assignment to complete — namely, a haircut. “Too high,” the Jason Morgan actor joked in reference to his mop.
When last Burton spoke about his imminent return to GH, he guesstimated that fans would see him onscreen about four weeks after he began filming.
Anderson, for his part, relayed to Burton that he’d noticed Jason’s name popping up in conversation. “I thought, ok, that’s great, I love talking about you,” he added. “I think it’s just reminding the audience which characters have connections [to Jason]…making it fresher in everybody’s mind again.”
Burton’s Jason hasn’t been seen since November 19, 2021, when he was presumed dead following the collapse of a tunnel he was traversing.
