Today’s The Young and the Restless recap for December 15, 2023, details Tucker’s plan, if that is really his plan. Nobody knows. Maybe Tucker doesn’t even know.
Tucker Wants Peace
Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters) were surprised to see Tucker (Trevor St. John) at the door. He was there to see Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and tell them about his latest change of plans because we all know nobody can get enough of talking about Tucker’s many plans.
Tucker had a new life purpose, or so he claimed. But before he would reveal it, he asked where Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Billy (Jason Thompson) were. Nobody had an answer for him, so Tucker announced his latest plan of the day. This time he was waving the white flag and making peace with the Abbotts.
Jack didn’t buy anything Tucker had to say and refused to shake Tucker’s hand. That didn’t matter. He had another announcement. He was going to buy Ashley’s half of Glissade without even knowing the price. He also swore to never go after Jabot again.
After Tucker left, Jack, Diane, and Ashley admitted they didn’t trust him. They agreed they had to do something more than sell him a perfume company so Jack once again brought up Tucker covering up a statutory rape. He was ready to roll with his smear campaign almost immediately.
Once alone, Diane chastised Billy for never being there at the right time. Jack defended his brother and asked Diane to accept that Kyle was not going to be Jabot CEO right now. He was not going to fire Billy.
Kyle And Billy Are Busy
While Tucker taunted his parents and aunt, Kyle enjoyed his time in bed with Audra (Zuleyka Silver). Too bad the only thing that Audra could think about was work. She wanted Kyle to step up his plot to give her and Tucker insider information about Jabot. Kyle just tried to push to learn what Tucker’s plan was. As if Audra or anyone else knew.
Kyle floated Jack’s theory that Tucker was playing everyone, even Audra. She warned Kyle that Tucker might want everyone to underestimate him. Perhaps he wasn’t playing head games after all. Kyle worried what would happen if Tucker hung her out to dry. Audra assured him she’d be fine because she still had a job at Newman Media.
As for Tucker, he wanted to talk to Audra immediately and texted her to meet him at the GCAC bar. When she didn’t respond, Tucker made his way to her room to find Kyle there and once again asked him to prove his loyalty. So, Kyle demanded to know what the big plan was.
So, Tucker revealed it. Steal a formula for a big new Jabot product and give it to Tucker.
Billy popped into Society to meet Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan), which would be their second meal of the day at one of GC’s dining establishments. They talked about Christmas presents for a while before getting down to the real business at hand.Â
He’d been thinking about what she said about being too obsessed with Jabot and bringing down Tucker. He knew he needed a change and was about to make one. Then, he’d make sure someone else took the fall as a traitor, just killing Jabot for good. Once alone, Kyle told Audra he still thought Tucker would double-cross Audra.
Summer’s Concert Dilemma
Summer (Allison Lanier) was happy to see Chance (Conner Floyd) when she walked into Crimson Lights. She immediately approached him with a friendly smile after just seeing him at Society. He playfully accused her of following him, still not realizing she had a crush on him.
They made some small talk before Chance invited her to a concert. It was one of Summer’s favorite bands but Sharon (Sharon Case) had to cancel. Chance had an extra ticket so he offered it to Summer. She was hesitant to say yes until Chance told her they were VIP tickets and they could meet the band. She agreed to think about it and call him later with an answer.
Soon Daniel (Michael Graziadei)walked in and sat down with his sister. He saw how she was blushing and could tell she had a thing for Chance. He encouraged her to go to the concert, but she didn’t want to seem like she was throwing herself at Chance. Finally, Summer called Chance and told him she’d go.
