The recap for Monday’s episode of Young and the Restless (Y&R) teases that Tucker crosses the line with Phyllis. Phyllis gives Tucker the order to send her half the money, but when she checks, she discovers that he only gave her $100,000. She watches as he moves the remaining items. The plans Tucker has for Billy must be known to Phyllis. She is concerned about keeping the hack’s origins secret. In order to make it harder to track, she advises using a public WIFI.
Phyllis and Tucker’s Risky Business:
Phyllis is reassured by Tucker that Billy will not be aware of anyone having accessed his account. McCall tells Phyllis that he requires her assistance in breaking into other accounts. Phyllis rejects this. She did not consent to moving money between his accounts; she just agreed to hack into them. She is not a burglar. According to Y&R spoilers, Tucker gives Phyllis the order to move a sizable sum of money from Jabot to Billy’s account. In order to make Billy appear to be robbing the business, he wants to.
Phyllis is baffled as to why Tucker would accuse Billy of being a criminal. Tucker explains that while he likes Billy, he will work with him to accomplish his goal. Phyllis is kept in the dark about McCall’s ultimate goal. Red will not accuse Billy of embezzlement. She asserted that because of his change, he no longer merits to be treated as a pawn in Tucker’s scheme. She is reminded by McCall that Jack would think Billy would steal from Jabot again because he did it once before.
With Phyllis, Tucker becomes impatient. He warns her not to upset him, urging her to get to work. Tucker wants a full refund in the event that Phyllis is unable to finish the job. Phyllis starts working on gaining entry to Billy’s account. She encounters a firewall and fears she will be unable to get past it. Phyllis finds the solution and gains access, despite Tucker’s accusations that she is stalling.
Jack and Billy’s Heated Clash:
Jack and Billy are engaged in a heated argument at the Abbott Estate. Jack’s expectation that Billy will fail bothers him. Billy might have been seduced by Tucker and Ashley’s offer, Jack fears. Billy says that he was, but he told him about it right away.
Billy, in Jack’s opinion, acts out because he feels unappreciated. He says he is not sure it is working anymore and that he is thinking about letting him go from Jabot. Billy asserts that Devon did not hear anything from him that Tucker had not already told him. Devon asserted that he was unaware of the circumstances surrounding Ashley and Tucker’s divorce. Devon was given a warning as he concluded their conversation. He was compelled to warn Devon about Tucker and urge him to be vigilant.
Billy only wants to defend Jabot, according to The Young and the Restless spoilers. He asserts that he is doing it because it is his responsibility as co-CEO and not because he feels cheated by Jack. Billy is aware of Tucker’s likely adverse reaction, which is why Jack needs a number of allies, including Adam.
In order to keep Jabot safe, Billy tells Jack that they can share information from other sources. Jack is concerned that Billy is utilizing this ruse to maintain his employment. Billy is told he is not let go by Jack, who also demands that they start cooperating.
Spoilers for Y&R indicate that Billy implores Jack to talk to Adam about Tucker. He has information about him that they could possibly use. Jack is urged to use his relationship with Adam to protect Jabot by Billy, who worries that Adam will not tell him the information. Jack agrees.
Adam and Sally’s Unwanted Attraction:
Sally can be seen using her tablet at the GCAC, where Adam finds her. Although he regrets the kiss, he is unable to deny it took place. Adam despises that he made her uncomfortable but will not take responsibility for kissing her.
Adam keeps returning to it in his thoughts. Adam should back off, in Sally’s opinion, because their decision to have dinner together and act normally was a positive step. She cautions him against going beyond what it already was.
Sally begs Adam to hold off on telling her why they should be together. She believes he is considering this too much. Adam grumbles that no one seems to be taking his promise of change seriously. While she insists that he respects her and Nick’s relationship, she denies doing that.
Adam is sure that Sally still loves him, according to The Young and the Restless spoilers. She asks him to stop expressing her emotions and stops him. Sally asserts that it is irrelevant because she moved on with Nick and that he is occupied with trying to win over his father.
Sally believes that Adam’s assertion that she still harbors feelings for him is wishful thinking on his part. Adam acknowledges clinging to the dream that one day she will be open to a reunion. Sally doesn’t know what to say. Adam walks out the door, claiming he does not want to put any pressure on Spectra.
Upcoming Drama:
Billy is seen by Phyllis in the GCAC’s entranceway. She is questioned by him regarding the position at SNA Media. Following the restructuring of the Victor company, she claims everything is uncertain. Billy is certain that Phyllis will find a solution because of her resourcefulness. Red seems to be feeling guilty as Tucker descends the stairs and glares at her. As she leaves the building, Billy inquires if she is alright, and Phyllis replies right away that she is fine.
Nick gives Sally flowers to enjoy in her suite. She remembers kissing Adam at that time. She despises the fact that she can not help but think about him. Adam receives a call from Jack while he is by himself in the Jazz Lounge. Inviting a meeting, he assures Abbott that he knows exactly why he called.
