The Bold and the Beautiful Recap: Ridge Ticks Off Zende Once Again

Today’s The Bold and the Beautiful recap for December 19, 2023, details Ridge’s grand idea for the next part of Eric’s grand finale.

Zende Is Stunned

RJ (Joshua Hoffman) and Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) stood in Eric’s (John McCook)office going over everything that’s happened over the last week. We got to hear a summary of Ridge attempting to pull the plug on ‘Granddad’ and Finn (Tanner Novlan) stepping in to save the day. RJ assured Ridge he made the right decision.

But RJ also worried that perhaps he shouldn’t be the one helping Ridge complete Eric’s final collection. Would he anger Zende (Delon De Metz) again? Ridge didn’t care about that and told RJ that it had to be him. After all, he started the collection with Eric and needed to be the one to finish it.

In the design office, Zende used Luna (Lisa Yamada) as a sounding board. He wanted to be the one to finish his grandfather’s vision. When he approached Ridge about the idea with a fabulous pitch Zende was once again disappointed and infuriated that Ridge chose RJ as his assistant.

At least Ridge asked RJ to leave the room so he could break the news. Zende could assist RJ, would that make him feel better? No, it wouldn’t. Ridge told him not to take it personally, but Zende rightfully did. He also wanted to do this in honor of his grandfather and didn’t think RJ could do the job right.

Brooke Allows Herself To Feel

Back at the Forrester mansion, Brooke poured her heart out to Hope (Annika Noelle) about nearly losing Eric. She was relieved that Hope was trying to be positive when everyone else was so doom and gloom, assuming that Eric would never wake up.

Brooke finally took some time to think about herself and deal with everything that had happened over the last few weeks. She thought of everyone else but forgot to take care of her own emotions. Brooke shared memories of Eric with her daughter and admitted she wasn’t sure what she would do if Eric died.

Thankfully, the women were able to distract themselves by getting a care package ready for Donna (Jennifer Gareis), who hadn’t left Eric’s side in the hospital.
