The Bold and the Beautiful recap for November 21, 2023, details Zende’s fury, Thope’s designing future, and Bill’s sense of deja vu.
Zende’s Ready To Play Dirty
Ridge (Thorsten Kaye) tried to explain Zende’s (Delon De Metz) point of view to RJ (Joshua Hoffman). He thought he was being shut out of designing because he wasn’t Ridge’s son and didn’t understand how RJ suddenly became the big star. RJ still thought it was a good idea to tell Zende the truth about Eric — that his grandfather was dying — but Ridge balked at the idea.
He felt guilty for telling Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) about Eric (John McCook) and didn’t want to betray his father anymore. He figured Zende would get over feeling slighted.
Later, when RJ and Luna (Lisa Yamada) shared their own close design office moments, Zende spied them and lied to RJ, telling him Ridge wanted to see him. RJ could tell something was up with Zende and told Ridge that he thought his cousin was gunning for him. Ridge assured his son that there was nothing Zende could take from him. Little
Once alone with Luna, Zende took the time to get to know her better as he bragged about his own fashion accomplishments.
Is There Hope For The Future?
Hope (Annika Noelle) and Thomas enjoyed some close moments in the design office where Hope admitted that she did indeed tell Thomas that she loved him the night before. Thomas then noticed a photo of Eric and became sad so Hope tried to comfort him. However, before they could say much more Zende came barreling in to air his grievances.
He was furious that Hope For The Future was put on the backburner and although Hope wasn’t happy about it, she understood why it had to happen. Zende just wanted to know why Eric wanted to collaborate with RJ. Thomas assured him that Ridge had nothing to do with RJ working with Eric.
Hope and Thomas decided they might as well talk to Ridge about the issue and ask for some money to produce a new line. Ridge explained the cash was earmarked for Eric, so Thomas brought up the Zende problem.
Bill Is Sure He knows Poppy, Li Is Still Ticked
Earlier, Li (Naomi Matsuda) and Finn (Tanner Novlan) met in his office to discuss Poppy (Romy Park) and Luna. Li was sure that they’d be leaving town but was shocked when she learned that Finn and Steffy had RJ and Luna over for dinner. She was sure that Luna was just a gold digger who was trying to get ahead.
Finn told his mother about the promise he made that he’d help Li and Poppy repair their relationship, but Li could only scoff at the idea and tell him, “Not in this lifetime.” Li insisted that her sister was a phony while pointing out that Luna didn’t even know who her father was.
Bill (Don Diamont) still believed that Poppy looked familiar so he introduced himself to her Poppy. She seemed to know him but insisted they’d never met before. She also informed Bill she was having lunch with the daughter she barely sees, so he knew it was his time to leave.
