It’s a week of shake-ups for the young actors at General Hospital. This week announcements came that Nicholas Alexander Chavez and Avery Kristen Pohl have left the sudser. Now, news has come that Joshua Benard is leaving too.
Farewell, Adam
The real-life son of Maurice Benard (Sonny) is taking a step back from playing stressed-out student Adam. It seems his story-arch as Josslyn Jack’s (Eden McCoy) anxious friend is coming to a close.
Joshua joined the cast back in 2018 when he aired as a young version of Sonny. He then returned to the set in 2022 as Adam. The role took off last year when he showed up at Joss and Trina’s (Tabyana Ali) college.
While there’s nothing stating this is a permanent end to Adam’s life in Port Charles, he is saying farewell, at least for right now. According to Soap Opera Digest, his last air date was February 1st.
