Today’s General Hospital recap for December 21, 2023, details Christmas Eve throughout Port Charles.
Christmas Eve With The Qs
Tracy (Jane Elliot), Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), and Olivia (Lisa LoCicer) spent Christmas Eve at home. Lois (Rena Sofer) soon arrived with antlers for everyone. Tracy refused to wear hers and told Lois to take the A train back to Bensonhurst. As Lois pointed out the A train doesn’t go there. But she was absolutely right about the D train, as well as the N/R trains.
Finally, Tracy put the antlers on before Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) wheeled Monica (Leslie Charleson) in. She hurt her ankle in the snow, but she was happy to have a full house full of Brooklyn chicks and told Lois that she was welcome to stay as long as she wanted.
Surprisingly, Tracy was contrite and apologized to Olivia for calling them the Bridge and Tunnel Twins. Then, she planted the idea in Olivia’s head that she could lose Ned to Lois.
Michael (Chad Duell) met with Ned (Wally Kurth) in the stables to ask for a truce. Remembering that Nina (Cynthia Watros) told him about Ned’s blackmail, he handed Ned a gift — his voting proxy as well as half of his ELQ shares. Ned just wanted to know why Michael was doing Nina’s dirty work.
Finally, Michael had to admit that Ned was right, but before he could explain his own blackmail move, Willow walked in and told him it was time to visit Nina and Sonny. After Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) left, Michael asked Ned to keep silent — for Willow and Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) sake, of course.
Before Michael walked away, Ned warned him not to trust Nina.
A Corinthos Christmas Eve
Sonny, Nina, Ava (Maura West), and Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) gathered on Christmas Eve before Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) stopped by to chat with his father in private. Dante told Sonny all about Brennan’s arrest, but they both concluded he wasn’t behind the Metro Court pool shooting.
When Sonny returned to the apartment, he found Nina and Ava arguing, so Nina just told the truth — “Some creep left Ava a gun.” Nina then made herself scarce so that Ava and Sonny could have a little chat.
Sonny made Ava tell him everything that had been going on with her new stalker. He was furious that she waited till now to tell him and ordered her to bring him the gun tomorrow.
Soon, Michael, Willow, Amelia, and Wiley arrived, making Nina a very happy grandmother. When Willow left Michael and Nina alone in the living room, Michael informed Nina that he had taken care of the Ned problem.
Later, Ava seemed like a bad friend when she told Nina she should expect Michael to be angry with her.
Spinelli And Felicia Suspect Cody
Cody (Josh Kelly) came barreling into Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) house with a Santa hat bearing gifts and pleasing Sasha (Sofia Mattsson). When Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) arrived with his things, he was horrified to see Cody so Cody apologized for getting off on the wrong foot last year.
Spinelli pointed out that Christmas Eve is for family, prompting an uncomfortable Cody to leave. When Cody left, Sasha took Spinelli to task for his attitude. Spinelli defended himself as he chastised Cody. Sasha still didn’t want to hear it, telling Spinelli that Cody literally saved her life.
Later, Felicia (Kristina Wagner) told Sasha and Maxie that something seemed off about Cody. Maybe Spinelli was right that he was still trying to con them. Felicia mentioned previously thinking Cody was Mac’s son and Sasha immediately knew this secret could become a problem.
As for Spinelli, he tracked Cody down to apologize. He also warned him that he’d have to answer to the Jackal if he didn’t behave.
