General Hospital spoilers for for January 15-19, 2024, promise a week of big story movement in Port Charles as secrets are both revealed and discovered.
Carly Learns What Michael Did
Knowing that she’s not the only petty, impulsive, and dishonest person in Port Charles, Nina (Cynthia Watros) decides to play defense and tell Carly (Laura Wright) the rest of the SEC secret — namely that Michael (Chad Duell) knew Nina was the informant for months and thought it was more important to blackmail Nina instead of be honest with his mother.
Since this is Carly and her family, he will likely be chastised for a hot minute and then all will be forgiven as he gets the Carly treatment. Remember how she kept the truth about one of Nina’s children from her for a second time and everyone pretty much told her no harm, no foul as Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) was on her deathbed?
Whatever happens to Michael, it looks like Tracy (Jane Elliot) is about to get an earful when Carly and Drew (Cameron Mathison) confront him in the Q living room.
Esme’s Desperation
With Nikolas (Adam Huss) finally contacting Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) after nearly a year and Spencer realizing that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) has all her memories back, will the father and son decide to team up to bring the lying young woman down? Nikolas’s sole purpose being back in Port Charles seems to be getting back at Esme and now he may have the perfect ammunition.
As for Esme, she has her day in court with Marty (Michael E. Knight) defending her and Laura (Genie Francis) there as moral support. Perhaps Spencer should inform his beloved grandmother that her precious sweetheart Esme has been lying through her teeth to her again. What will Laura do when she finally learns the truth?
