Giveaways, Touring, Comedy, And More
Steve and Bradford are ready to wrap up their holiday comedy tour, take your questions, and announce giveaway winners. They’re even in the same room for this episode, right in Sacramento, CA where Bradford lives.
They’re winding down after another successful tour over the last month where they made fans laugh in cities like Boston, Charlotte, Milwaukee, Chicago, and Nashville. In fact, Derk Cheetwood (Max, GH) surprised them by attending their Nashville show.
A Day At The Movies
They even had some time off in Boston so Steve and their friend Jeremy explored the city in the cold rain, eating at a cafe and going to the movies. It was the first time in a long time he got to enjoy a movie, in this case, Napoleon.
Steve explains how his teenage son Jack writes music reviews with his friend. He couldn’t wait to know what his dad thought of the flick. Steve’s criteria for a good review is whether he’d recommend people see it. He did not recommend Napoleon.
Steve and Bradford go on to comment on how the movie world has changed, especially with the advent of streaming.
Traveling Around The Cold Coast With Stone Cold
Your hosts had to get used to the cold on the East Coast, including in Boston and in NY, specifically Albany and Long Island. They even drove from Albany downstate onto Long Island.
To get to their show in Connecticut, they took a ferry that thankfully had a bar. At least they had a nice day for their boat ride. From there, they drove to New Brunswick, NJ for another show. They then made their way to Philadelphia where a GH fan who owned an Italian restaurant hooked them up with a reservation.
Online Scam Warning
Steve and Bradford are asked if they chat with people online, so they tell the story of a woman in Albany who thought she had a conversation with them, ended up losing money, and thought they were coming over after the show.
It was a scam that began on Facebook and they both wish there was a way to fix it because Internet impersonators are everywhere. Steve states for the record that he is not messaging people via social media platforms.
Holiday Talk
Bradford relays that he got ready for the holidays by watching a Netflix animated movie called Angela’s Christmas. However, they have been very busy traveling so he hadn’t watched any typical holiday movies. Steve caught National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation during some downtime.
They take another question from a fan wanting to know about their Christmas tree preferences. Things became a bit comical when Steve poked fun at Bradford’s tree this year. His kids are also not thrilled with it. Steve alluded to it being a Charlie Brown tree. By December 20, the tree was dead.
Steve has a fake tree from Costco that will last longer than Bradford’s.
Another fan asks if they prefer snow or no snow for Christmas. The answer was adamantly snow. They were also asked if they do matching pajamas for the family. Steve and Bradford admits he did it for the kids but not for the adults.
