If there’s one thing that The Young and the Restless stars Josh Morrow and Michelle Stafford have in common with their onscreen alter-egos, it’s the love of the game. Any game. Video games, a board game. But, all pale in comparison to the actors’ love for sports games. Football in particular — a fact hilariously exploited by CBS Sports’ promo department.
The NFL Brings the Soapy Drama
In a spot meant to spotlight the upcoming 58th annual Super Bowl (a showdown between the San Francisco 49ers and the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs), Stafford confronts a mopey Morrow and chastises him for the antics he threw at their last Superbowl Sunday party. Antics that include *GASP* breaking a nacho tray over his own head.
As the duo’s argument reaches its climax, Stafford swipes a glass of water out of Morrow’s hand, and…well, that would be telling. You’ll have to watch the video in full to find out!

This marks the fourth time that the two halves of once popular supercouple “Phick” have been called upon to get fans pumped for sports programming.
Stafford and Morrow’s previous efforts include promotions for CBS Sports’ Fantasy Football League and the March Madness basketball games. (Both are viewable below)
