Real-life couple and producing partners Michael and Janeen Damian will be the special guests on Thursday’s episode of The Locher Room.
Michael and Janeen Damian On Their Netflix Flick
While Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti) will no doubt field questions about his romantic entanglements on The Young and the Restless (and probably one or two about his legendary locks), he and his wife will be devoting the majority of their interview to their latest endeavor: the Lindsay Lohan fronted Netflix romcom, Irish Heart.
Irish Heart hails from the couple’s production company Riviera Films, based on a script from the Damians and Kirsten Hansen, and Ron Oliver. But, the Damian’s involvement doesn’t stop there. Janeen directed the film while Michael penned the song Wild Irish Heart which will feature prominently.
Per Deadline, Lohan stars as Maddie. “When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, she puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.”
This marks the Damians and Lohan’s second collaboration, following on from Falling for Christmas which debuted on Netflix on November 10, 2022. Irish Wish also serves to fulfill the two-picture deal Lohan (a graduate of daytime soaps herself; ex-Alexandra “Alli” Fowler, Another World) struck with Netflix.
