Despite a few false starts (including a previously assured release date of November 10, 2022), Michael Damian’s (Danny Romalotti, The Young and the Restless) long gestating romantic comedy is soon to premiere.
Michael Damian Touts Irish Wish
The actor took to Instagram to with a post featuring an advertisement for the Lindsay Lohan fronted flick and the caption, “Can’t wait to for you all to see our new romcom #IrishWish starring the uber talented @lindsaylohan @edwardjspeleers @alexvlahosofficial @ayeshacurry Only On @netflix Word Wide March 15th!

Per Deadline, Lohan stars as Maddie. “When the love of her life gets engaged to her best-friend, she puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland. Days before the pair are set to marry, Maddie makes a spontaneous wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be. With her dream seeming to come true, Maddie soon realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely.”
Damian, who produced Irish Wish via his Riviera Films production company, co-wrote the script alongside his wife, Janeen Damian, Kirsten Hansen, and Ron Oliver.
This marks Damian and Lohan’s second collaboration, following on from Falling for Christmas which debuted on Netflix on November 10, 2022. Irish Wish also serves to fulfill the two-picture deal Lohan (a graduate of daytime soaps herself; ex-Alexandra “Alli” Fowler, Another World) struck with Netflix.
Among the MANY to congratulate Damian on his endeavor were his Y&R leading ladies Lauralee Bell (Christine Blair) and Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers).
