The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Ashley Puts Her Most Charming Foot Forward

The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, May 1, 2024, tease Ashley’s lovely new persona keeps up appearances.

Previously On Y&R: Ashley and Diane shared quips at Crimson Lights before the call came in that Alan was in town. He got an update on Traci before Ashley got home. He couldn’t treat Ashley but he was happy to help. Ash took him to Society for lunch where her sickeningly sweet persona put Abby on alert. As for the Newmans, Victor paid the dungeon dweller a visit and pushed a few of Jordan’s buttons. Victoria and Cole ran off to the storage where they rescued their daughter. She wasn’t the only one inside, though, there was a dead woman, too! As it turned out, the woman was helping Jordan and collapsed, trapping Claire underneath her. Horrific. She shared her tale once they got back to the ranch and Victor assured Claire that Jordan was most certainly dead. Later, Lauren and Michael met up and updated each other on all the Jordan and Los Angeles Sheila drama. Talk turned to Nikki and they quickly realized their friend was nowhere to be found by anyone! Now, let’s talk about what’s coming up next.

A Lovely Mess

Southern Belle Ashley (Eileen Davidson) can’t wait to save Ashley from herself by giving her a healthy dose of love. Why concentrate and dwell on Tucker (Trevor St. John) when there’s handsome Alan (Christopher Cousins) is right there? He’s smart, successful, and cute as a button. He’s the perfect person to have Ashley’s heart.

Of course, to make this work, she’ll have to be on top of her game and not give herself away. He can’t know she’s not the “real” Ashley until her game of cupid is complete. Can she keep up the act without slipping, though?

A Complete Breakdown

Meanwhile, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) completely falls apart. She shuts herself into that GCAC room and slips into an alcoholic abyss. Poor Nikki has a lot of pain, guilt, and heartbreak she’s trying to numb with each swig of the bottle. This relapse may be one of her worst and she comes dangerously close to disaster.

Nikki needs love and support if she has any hope of picking herself up, dusting herself off, and facing sobriety. She’s on a downward spiral and she’s too far gone to save herself.

A Hot Scheme

At the same time, Devon (Bryton James) and Nate (Sean Dominic) create a united front against Billy (Jason Thompson). They don’t want him as part of the company (especially after the votes) and decide it’s time to oust him completely. Unfortunately, that means taking on Jill (Jess Walton), too. They may have what it takes to go up against Billy, but what about his Mama Bear?
