YouTubeThere was no special guest star this week on Steve Burton and Bradford Anderson’s Daily Drama Podcast, brought to listeners by Daily Drama, “the one-stop shop for your viewing needs.” Instead, Burton opened up about his first day back at General Hospital — which was not without a spot of, well, drama — and submitted to an uproarious round of Jason-based trivia.
Reporting For Duty
One thing you’ll learn about Burton (if you haven’t already gotten the memo), is that he’s a man who enjoys a routine. And he’d made up his mind to pick back up the regimen he followed during his tenure at the ABC sudser.
That meant arriving at the production facility at 5 AM, well ahead of his 6:45 call time, and getting in a workout before reporting to wardrobe for fittings. In case there are any fans out there chomping at the bit, fear not. Jason’s preferred color palette isn’t being messed with.
As you’ll learn from the video below, there high points and struggles that faced Burton. Though he’s yet to be designated a parking spot or a dressing room, and despite some unavoidable snafus that cut short some preplanned publicity opportunities (curse you mother nature!), Burton ended his day struck an inspiring revelation…one which we won’t spoil for you here.
What’s To Come
As for what awaits Jason, Burton couldn’t say. And would you really want him to? But what he could offer was that he was “super excited” with the storyline that was being penned by head writers Elizabeth Korte (with whom he was able to snag some one-on-one time) and Patrick Mulcahey.
How Well Does Steve Burton Know Jason Morgan?
The co-hosts wrapped the podcast with Burton being put in the hot seat and subjected to 6 questions devoted to his GH alter-ego. Though Burton expressed doubt that he could correctly guess even three, all in all, he did himself proud. Solid B+ plus material.
That said, fans of a particular courtship might lose their cool when he forgets to name-check a lovely lady with whom Jason was once mighty smitten!
