Victor has a grand plan to keep Nikki safe. That plan is to use his long-lost granddaughter (whom he doesn’t quite like yet) to lure the evil Jordan out of hiding. It’s dangerous, it’s risky, and we can’t see it ending well. What happens when things go sideways, and Claire ends up with blood on her hands?
A Very Bad Plan
Claire (Hayley Erin) spent her whole life under Aunt Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) rule. She was kidnapped, brainwashed, and manipulated every single day. So much so, she was happy to seek revenge against her very own family. Little did she know, it was all a lie.
It’s taken months of treatment for Claire to even begin to be okay. Being locked up in the hospital isn’t easy, but at least she’s made progress. Now, with Victor (Eric Braeden) making a solid bid for her release, everything that can go wrong might very well go wrong.
A Matter Of Life Or Death
Victor is on the cusp of putting Claire into a highly volatile situation. Not only is he going to use her to get to Jordan, but he’s also risking her life. Jordan is a kill or be killed kind of gal and when push comes to shove, she’ll have no qualms about taking Claire down if she has to.
We can just picture it. Jordan falls for Victor’s trap and sets out to use Claire too. She turns up to see her niece in the hopes of Claire taking her side. What she won’t know is that the Newmans are there, right around the corner, and when she arrives, they’ll pounce!
It’ll be a classic Royal Rumble battle with Jordan fighting tooth and nail for control. And she’ll get it…for a hot minute. But it’ll be Claire who ends the showdown. Claire will get ahold of Jordan’s gun, and like she did before, she’ll point it right at her evil auntie. However, unlike last time, she’ll actually pull the trigger!
Claire will be hailed a hero by the Newmans. However, her heart will never heal from the tragic scene. Jordan may be a monster, but she’s all Claire knew for most of her life. It’s a death she might never move past.
