When Audra Charles first arrived on the Genoa City scene, she quickly made a move on her ex, Noah Newman, but he only had eyes for Jack’s long-lost granddaughter, Allie. Audra knew she needed to move on and set up shop in the GC corporate world.
Audra’s Games With Two Men
For months, all we ever saw Audra (Zuleyka Silver) do was scheme to get ahead at Newman while hanging out at the Genoa City Athletic Club bar flirting with whoever came along. We learned of her connections to both Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) and Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John), but Audra didn’t tell Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about those men when she seduced him at one of his lowest moments.
Kyle couldn’t handle the idea that his wife Summer (Allison Lanier) kept a major secret from him about Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) when Kyle kept that same secret from Summer. So, he drowned his sorrows in booze and ended up in bed with Audra — a woman he ended his marriage for.
It was hard to tell if Kyle and Audra were just using one another for sex or if they really started to fall for one another. Tucker remained as confused about this as the audience as he clearly used Audra for sex after his honeymoon breakup with Ashley.
Audra’s Had It With Tucker And Kyle
As both men tried pulling her in opposite directions with their petty little corporate revenge plots, Audra grew more weary of it all. She was sick of Tucker’s past nearly sullying her reputation multiple times, as tired of doing Tucker’s dirty work, and over Kyle’s constant temper tantrums — and who could blame her?
As we’re finally learning more about Audra the person, including the fact that she was raised by an alcoholic father, maybe it’s time for this woman to emerge as an independent force to be reckoned with away from two toxic men.
Both Tucker and Kyle seemed to be using Audra and she is tired of being used, so what happens to Audra now? Does she stand on her own without a man or will someone else come along who will appreciate her, her success, and her intelligence? Perhaps Sharon and Nick’s son would like to return from Europe once again…
