Today’s The Young and the Restless recap for December 12, 2023, details everyone talking about Tucker as they all tend to do.
Ashley Makes Her Tucker Move
Tucker (Trevor St. John) stopped by Audra’s (Zuleyka Silver) suite first thing in the morning and encouraged her to live it up and enjoy time in bed with Kyle (Michael Mealor). Of course, what he really wanted were Jabot secrets. He couldn’t understand why Audra didn’t have any yet if Kyle was serious.
Tucker was sure Kyle was playing them, but Audra was sure he really wanted to take over his family company and was on their side. Audra was disappointed because Tucker refused to tell her what his ultimate plan was. Does Tucker even know?
Jack (Peter Bergman) was pleased to hear that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) was considering his request to sell her half of Glacade to Tucker but she wasn’t sure. So, Jack tried to make her sure by pointing out that neutralizing Tucker was the key to her future and their family’s future.
Ashley finally gave in and texted Tucker so they could meet. He responded right away, meaning Ashley and Jack’s latest plan was a go. As soon as Ashley made her offer, Tucker was suspicious that there was something else going on.
Talking About Tucker
Diane (Susan Walters) and Kyle (Michael Mealor) had breakfast at the Genoa City Athletic Club to go over their plan to bring down Tucker. She was thrilled that the Abbotts had teamed up with Jill, but Kyle worried that Jack wouldn’t be happy that they’d kept him out of the loop with their plans. Diane didn’t seem too concerned
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy (Jason Thompson) met up at Crimson Lights where he told her that the Abbotts had a plan to bring down Tucker. Chelsea just wanted to know who was actually running these businesses while everyone obsessed over one man. She had a great point. She also made Billy see that he was becoming too obsessed with work.
New Tucker Talk On The Table
Nate (Sean Dominic) met up with Jill (Jess Walton) and Devon (Bryton James) at Society where they discussed the Tucker threat. Nate was surprised to hear that Lily (Christel Khalil) was out of town on an extended stay to care for Mattie. That meant they were down one person in their battle against Tucker.
Soon, Mamie (Veronica Redd) appeared out of nowhere frantic that Tucker would take over Chancellor-Winters. She was ready to have them put all hands on deck to defeat him. Somehow, Jill and Mamie were on the same side, but that didn’t mean there wasn’t competition.
Jill thought she, Nate, and Devon could handle things on their own and they didn’t need Mamie. However, Mamie was not about to back down. Devon had to play mediator, but he also insisted to Jill that Lily would want Mamie on board to help. At least they could all agree it was great for Nate to be back.
After the men left, Jill let her true feelings out, accusing Mamie of not having what it takes to bring down Tucker. Jill even offered to once again pay Mamie to leave town, but Mamie wasn’t amused. Instead, she asked Jill how much it would take to make her go.
